Vacancy available: we are hiring a tig welder in Grant County, Arkansas. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Your main tasks: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
