Brickwork mason • Fluvanna County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Fluvanna County, Virginia. On the job you will handle: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
