Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Essien Udim, Akwa Ibom State. On the job you will handle: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms Requirements: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Rotating shifts.
