Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete worker in Clark County, Ohio. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Day-to-day duties: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Full-time with occasional weekends.
