Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Watauga County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
