Great opportunity: gas installation technician (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Greene County, Alabama. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing On a typical shift you will read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $23 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
