Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Karaye, Kano State. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height 1+ years on the tools preferred.
