You should have: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits The role involves: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts Meals and transport allowance provided.
