Sand plant operator — Sheboygan County

Join our team: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. Day to day you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills 5+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
