Reinforcement fitter — DeWitt County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in DeWitt County, Illinois. You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts.
