Great opportunity: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Rock County, Nebraska. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners Day to day you will blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust. 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
