Stamping press operator • Missaukee County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Missaukee County, Michigan. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
