Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG welder in Surrey, England. You will be based at a busy production line. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. We offer £2,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
