Gas pipeline fitter — Somerset

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Somerset, England. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration Day to day you will locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply.
