Gang bricklayer • Irepodun/Ifelodun, Ekiti State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Irepodun/Ifelodun, Ekiti State. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Day-to-day duties: • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
