Port container crane operator • Merrimack County, New Hampshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Merrimack County, New Hampshire. You will work on a busy construction site. You should have: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day-to-day duties: • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
