Gas service engineer wanted in Caledonia County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Caledonia County, Vermont. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. The role involves: • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Driving licence for travel between sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
