Gtaw welder wanted in Bottineau County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Bottineau County, North Dakota. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day to day you will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper.
