GMAW welder — McCulloch County

Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in McCulloch County, Texas. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. You will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
