Paint and prep technician • Wadena County, Minnesota

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Wadena County, Minnesota. You will work in a spray booth. You will compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; prime and seal bare metal to stop rust; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels. What we are looking for: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
