Immediate opening: we are hiring a garment presser in Chickasaw County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets 1+ years on the tools preferred.
