Milling machinist • Scioto County, Ohio

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Scioto County, Ohio. The job is in a toolroom. Your main tasks: • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm What we are looking for: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Six days a week, one day off.
