Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Lapeer County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Strong attention to safety and load limits The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone.
