Join our team: we are hiring a marble fixer in San Joaquin County, California. You will work at a marble and granite workshop. What we are looking for: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs Your main tasks: • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Cut out sink and hob openings in worktops on site • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
