We are recruiting: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Bamberg County, South Carolina. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Ideal candidate: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Day to day you will apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. Rotating shifts. We offer $5,500 per project plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
