Rebar installer wanted in Craig County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Craig County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements The role involves read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
