UPVC window fitter — Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Macon County, Georgia. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. On a typical shift you will read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Full-time with occasional weekends.
