Lift technician — East Dunbartonshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift technician in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On the job you will handle: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
