Now hiring: we are hiring a last-mile delivery rider in Galveston County, Texas. The job is at a logistics despatch centre. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of local roads, lanes and shortcuts • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain • Punctual and reliable with polite customer manners The role involves: • Load and balance parcels safely in the rear carrier box • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Update the delivery status (picked up, on the way, delivered) on the app in real time • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset • Plan the fastest route using the delivery app and GPS navigation 3+ years on the tools preferred.
