Garment machinist wanted in Madison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Madison County, Missouri. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Your main tasks: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
