Immediate opening: gas meter installer (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Crisp County, Georgia. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
