Landscape gardener — Somerset County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a plant nursery. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Day-to-day duties: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease Part-time with flexible hours.
