Steel fixer wanted in Columbia County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixer in Columbia County, Washington. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
