Sand plant operator wanted in Nevada County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Nevada County, Arkansas. On the job you will handle: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
