MIG/MAG welder — Carroll County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Carroll County, Maryland. The job is at a busy production line. On the job you will handle: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Rotating shifts.
