Immediate opening: blocklayer (Kentucky)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Henry County, Kentucky. Day to day you will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings. Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Full-time with occasional weekends.
