Bar bender and fixer — Stark County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Stark County, Illinois. Day to day you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine. You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
