Join our team: we are hiring a café server in Newton County, Mississippi. You will be based at a banquet hall. On the job you will handle: • Pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Clear and reset tables between covers • Carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Check back during the meal and handle special requests You should have: • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
