Shopfront glazier — Muscatine County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Muscatine County, Iowa. You will be based at a glass and aluminium factory. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred Day-to-day duties: • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions Rotating shifts. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
