Great opportunity: D6/D8 dozer operator (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Craven County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Refuel the machine and record running hours Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
