GTAW welder — Sonoma County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Sonoma County, California. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
