Toolroom milling operator • Mason County, Michigan

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Mason County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence You should have: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
