You should have: • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Own hand tools an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to work in a team Day-to-day duties: • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
