Natural gas fitter wanted in Rabun County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Rabun County, Georgia. The job is in a gas distribution network. The role involves: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Six days a week, one day off.
