Restaurant steward wanted in Somerset County

Requirements: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts Your main tasks: • Clear and reset tables between covers • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
