Concrete worker wanted in Ascension Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete worker in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
