Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Knox County, Tennessee. The job is in an HVAC service company. Day-to-day duties: • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
