Argon welder wanted in Northumberland

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Northumberland, England. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer £2,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
