Quality assurance assistant • Washington County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Washington County, Alabama. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols On the job you will handle: • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
