Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The job is on a new-build development. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On a typical shift you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
